| The parfait I had for dessert |
While I'm at Madagascar I'm going to be visiting four restaurants. They are Cafe De La Gare, Pilly Pilly, Le Melville and Le Masandoandro. I will be talking about the four star, Pilly Pilly. The address is 36 Kingston Road, Diego Suarez, 16.49KM away from the hotel. It's located in the Harbourside. This restaurant opened in 1978, is an award winning restaurant and has also won the Michelin Star Award in 2008.
The décor is themed Paris at Midnight but outside you can see the sunset reflection on the sea. The entree menu is a variety of French and Italian cheese's with breads. I found this a divine starter. The mains you can choose from include crab, lobster, shellfish and salmon, these meals are all covered in thick slices of lemon which makes these mains fresh and vibrant with flavour. The desserts that the restaurant serves are chocolate eclairs, parfaits and a wide mouth watering selection of gelato. The flavours that the restaurant serves are pineapple, lemon, apple, lime, mixed berries, strawberry and yogurt.

| The salmon I had for dinner |
When I tried the French cheese it melted in my mouth it was one of the best things I'd ever tasted. When I had the salmon it had luscious colours but the food itself was ten times better and it had a lovely texture and it was well seasoned and delicious. The parfaits weren't too rich but had a nice balance of flavour it was the best dessert I'd ever had. The meal was mouth watering and I'd travel across the world to eat it again. The cuisine is Italian and French inspired. Many of the chefs are French and Italian too. They say that the cuisine is very spontaneous and everything is cooked at the last minute to retain its freshness.

I think that this is the best restaurant that I'd been to and that the food is to die for. The friendly service was wonderful, the waitress could carry four plates of food at a time and was dressed in a pretty red flower silk dress. The waitress suggested the best meals for me and I’m glad she did. The cost for the food was $49.50 what an unbeatable price for some of the best food I'd ever had. If I had the chance I'd go there again.
